Active shooter incidents are on the rise, a 52% increase from 2020-2021. Sadly, many of these incidents occur in schools, targeting innocent and defenseless children. Our focus is to coordinate school security guards and campus security officers to prevent and intervene active shooter incidents at schools and on campus.
While on duty, the guards will focus on evidence-based best-practices: If the shooter is outside - keep them outside, prioritize lockdowns. If the shooter gets in - get everyone out, prioritize evacuation. In any case, speed, surprise and violence of action against the shooter has proven to be the best course of action at reducing overall impact.

Human trafficking is the business of stealing someone's freedom for profit. In some situations, human traffickers trick, defraud or even physically force victims into their service. In others, the victims are threatened, lied to, assaulted, or otherwise manipulated into service, working under inhumane, and/or illegal conditions. It is a multi-billion dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to as many as 25 million people around the world.
Unfortunately, children account for over 25% of all the human trafficking victims worldwide, and two out of every three child victims are girls.
The FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) recently released its 2019 Missing Person and Unidentified Person statistics. As of December 31, 2019, the NCIC had nearly 87,500 active missing person records. Youth under the age of 18 account for 35 percent of the records, and 44 percent are people under 21.

Gary is the Owner & President of the NC Protection Group (d.b.a. Private Eyes, Inc.) since 1999. He served as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Greenville (NC) Police Department and is a proud Marine Corps Veteran. Gary is a fully licensed armed Private Investigator and Personal Protection Specialist (PPS).
ADAM SCHOLL
Director of Operations
Adam is a former law enforcement officer, served with the US Marshals Service and FBI Violent Crime Fugitive Task Forces, was a contractor with the U.S. Department of Defense, a black belt in Krav Maga and in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is currently working in private security in a variety of capacities as owner/operator of Scholl Security Group.

Project Manager
David is a former soldier in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division: Airborne Infantry Team Leader, Small Unit Tactics Instructor, Training Budget Manager and Procurement Manager. He is currently working in private security as a Project Manager and Protection Specialist with LaSorsa & Associates.

Art Dorst is a former sailor, soldier, EMT, and police officer. He currently operates A. Dorst Consulting & Training Services (www.adorstcts.com), and is a Senior Consultant and Trainer for LaSorsa & Associates (www.lasorsa.com).

Chris is a motivated and personable leader with a successful performance record in management and supervisory positions. Task oriented with a talent for quickly mastering tactics, techniques and standard operating procedures, Chris brings a a diplomatic, versatile edge to the team.
